Passive RFID Tag
|
|
A type of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tag that relies solely on the magnetic field created by the radio waves sent out by the reader to create a current that can be received by the antenna within the passive tag. RFID is a technology in which the tag, or transponder, is attached to a variety of goods and equipment in order to provide rapid identification, inventory management, and/or numerous security features. Passive RFID tags are often incorporated with digitally printed applications such as smart labels and security cards.
