A type of variable data publishing (VDP) application in which every piece of the print run is printed with a different name and address. Other than the name and address, the documents are identical for everyone on a mailing list. Mail merge is a simple form of personalization. Other types of personalized VDP applications can be much more complicated, with text blocks and graphics that change for specific target groups or individuals.
