Antique Finish
A type of paper finish that has a slightly rough feel providing it with a distinctive appearance. An antique finish is created during the paper manufacturing process by reducing the pressure applied to the paper fibers while the wet paper is being formed into a sheet. Paper with a smoother finish is produced as a result of greater pressure placed upon the rollers that flatten and smooth the sheet.
