Runnability
|
|
Refers to the ease in which a particular paper can be used on a printing press and its effectiveness in receiving printed text and graphics. Important considerations for determining runnability, or lack of it, are the consistency in which the paper holds ink on its surface; the uniformity of ink absorption over the entire surface of the paper; the stability of its dimensional characteristics; and the reliability of the surface texture of the paper.
