X Rays
|
|
A portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, or light spectrum. The wavelengths of X rays are longer than gamma rays (which are the shortest wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum), but they are shorter than ultraviolet wavelengths. X rays are most often used by health care services as a means of imaging internal portions of the human body. X rays are invisible to the human eye.
