Gloss Finish
A type of paper finish that produces a shiny and reflective surface on one or both sides of the paper. The gloss finish is produced with the incorporation of various compounds added during the paper making process. Paper with a gloss finish usually has a reduced ink absorption capability, which provides excellent contrast and color definition on printed pieces. A high gloss is usually seen on higher quality coated papers.
