Computer-to-Sleeve

A type of seamless printing plate used with the CtFlex plate imaging process (flexographic computer-to-plate technology). CtFlex systems use an external drum onto which the plate material is adhered for digital imaging. The point where the two ends of the plate meet on the drum creates a seam, or a non-printing area. With computer-to-sleeve technology, a seamless plate material is bonded to a sleeve. This flexographic sleeve is used when continuous imaging is desired.
